Bryan Long launched Better Georgia after the 2010 Tea Party wave with the goal of shaking up Georgia politics and bending the arc of progress faster than demographics alone might suggest.
Today, Better Georgia is the state’s largest progressive community with more than 140,000 active followers on Facebook, a weekly podcast, email action alerts and a progressive blog.
Over the life of the organization, Better Georgia has taken on Republican lawmakers and conservative activists to make sure voters know their is a choice on election day.
